Karen, it was a sad day today as the city quickly cut down the landmark Oak located at the intersection of Triunfo and Westlake Blvd.
Mind you , this tree has been standing for over 300 years and it had to come down without any public imput.
A group of angry homeowners that inundated the city will calls to stop or delay the process showed up to no avail. The tree my brothers and sisters stood under to wait for my dad to return home from work is gone without notice!
